Amazone Amaryllis is a flower nursery that specializes in growing cut amaryllis.
The flower production takes place from September through February, with a peak in December, just before Christmas.
The range of Amazone Amaryllis consists of heavy and exclusive varieties: large red, white, pink and two-colored. Our specialty is growing four double-flowered (Nymph) varieties. Also new varieties are experimented with.
When it comes to sustainability, Amazone Amaryllis is leading. With the help of state of the art technology, production takes place as efficient and as clean as possible, without input of natural gas. The new nursery, build in 2009, is the first and only cut flower nursery under glass, that produces climate neutrally (zero CO2). We do this by using a heat pump that runs on green energy. As a retailer and consumer this provides you with the opportunity to choose for an exclusive product, that has been sustainably produced.
Amazone Amaryllis is MPS-A and MPS-GAP and GRASP qualified.
Our flowers are sold via Connect or the clock, through the establishments Aalsmeer, Rijnsburg and Naaldwijk from flower auction Royal FloraHolland.
On Fridays and Saturdays our store for individuals opens its doors at our company.
